About Musikarama

Musikarama (Karama, dignity in Arabic) is a project which aims at building bridges between cultures using music as the driving factor, and working towards the resilience and integration of refugees and migrants. Our role is to facilitate the right conditions in which music becomes the tool for children and adults to release and express themselves, while showing their talent and skills through joy and play, avoiding feelings of exclusion or disconnection from society.

Super busy/nice week!!... we started new activities (DJ Workshop!, Tuesday), and hosted our regular Oriental healing session and Women choir (both ONLY for Women, on Wednesday) plus our busy guitar lessons on Sunday.
Our band had a beautiful concert on Thursday in Gagarin (more videos coming soon...), followed on Friday by a Jam session with amazing musicians in Communitism (it will not be the last one 😉 ).
Next week we'll host new dance activities (Syrian Dabke and Greek Traditional dance, Monday), as well as we'll start building our recording studio... ✊✊🤟🤟

Massive thanks to all partner projects and specially to all the volunteers making Musikarama possible, helping in many different ways (teaching, filming, fundraising, organising...)!! The Syrian & Greek Youth Forum / SGYF International Sports and Music Project مؤسسة جفرا في اليونان/Jafra foundation in Greece Babel Dc
